The Winter is always a slow season for farm auctions in Western Canada. Snow, Blizzards and -40C tend to limit attendance and enthusiasm for good reason.
But the winter is the time to sit in your office and find those items you need/want/wish for at the April rush of auction sales.
Today there are over 500 upcoming auction sales in Western Canada on Farm Auction Guide.Com , most with full details and photos if they are available. Most if not all will have PreBidding, Phone Bidding or Proxi-bidding available. Many of these also have live bidding available so you can sit in your PJ’s and bid online at multiple sales at a time.
Some companies will have Online only “Ebay ” style auctions during the winter (or year round). Hodgins in Saskatchewan are one company that has been successful building up that aspect of their business over the past few years.
The great thing about the Internet is there is no limit on the information you can find to research any purchases.
